Yarrow is a magic shield for protection. The dome-like shape of the flowers point to the shielding effect, working in the invisible as protection and boundary support. Almost like a satellite dish bouncing off energies that aren’t pure, Yarrow support us as a shield so that we can be our most true selves. Whether that true self in the moment is deep in darkness or bright in the stars - in any point of vulnerability, Yarrow supports us.

The Stories of the Flowers in this Remedy
Yarrow is known in many myth and folk stories, from the Witch’s protector to weaving into the story of Achilles and his mother, Thetis, dipping him by the ankle in a field of Yarrow for protection. For centuries, Yarrow has been a sacred ally of protection. The dome-like shape of the flowers point to the shielding effect, working in the invisible as protection and boundary support. This Yarrow is from beautiful Southern Oregon and the Mother essence was made on a Summer Strawberry Full Moon.
Made in Ceremony
Each essence has called upon Gaby in meditation to be made. It is through our human bodies that Earth and Spirit co-create, and essence medicine is a perfect expression of this sacred partnership. Every plant is harvested with intention—Reiki, prayer, and presence—crafted in sacred space alongside the Sun and spiritual guidance.

These essences are created with reciprocity and reverence, in alignment with the Wise Woman tradition and the harvesting ethics taught in Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Gaby opens and closes each ceremony as she would a healing session—with the Seven Directions, Reiki, and deep co-creation between Heaven and Earth. The flower essences are the living bridge.
